MeshFind Support
MeshFind records GPS positions received from Meshtastic radios, provides offline waypoint navigation, and exports activities as GPX files.
Ask a question or request support
Use the MeshFind support request form for installation help, questions, bug reports, or other assistance. Describe what you need help with and the developer will reply on the request.
This is the official support contact for the MeshFind iOS and Android apps. Please do not include private channel keys, passwords, precise private locations, or other secrets.
Quick connection checklist
- Pair the radio in the phone’s Bluetooth settings or the official Meshtastic app first.
- Keep the Meshtastic app disconnected while MeshFind connects; only one app can usually hold the Bluetooth connection at a time.
- In MeshFind, tap Connect and select the paired radio.
- Take the radio outside with a clear view of the sky for its first satellite fix.
- Leave Track a different mesh device off when recording the connected radio itself.
No GPS fixes
- Confirm the connected radio actually has GPS hardware and that GPS is enabled.
- Allow several minutes for a cold GPS start outdoors.
- Check the connected radio under Settings & help → Connected radio check.
- Use Radio setup wizard for recommended private-channel and GPS settings. Event-managed firmware may intentionally protect some settings.
Information to include with a problem report
Open a MeshFind support request and include:
- phone model and operating-system version;
- radio model and Meshtastic firmware version;
- what you tapped and what happened;
- the exact error message, if one appeared.
Hardware note
Meshtastic-compatible radios from many manufacturers can work. MeshFind was primarily tested with LowMesh hardware. LowMesh devices are optional; using this referral link may help support development.
